Through ten topics about economy, politics, and design about cheap objects, I tried to explore their democratic aspect and all the compromise behind their production and consumption. Why some object have value and other don’t ? Why are we so stingy and in the same time looking for the best ? Many questions which led me to look at "low-cost" and aesthetic normality like ways to a more sustainable growth. Ten chapters, each one is introduce by a small fiction. The book is fully in black and white complemented by an iconography in the form of stickers sheets. Readers can complete the book themselves by looking at captions, taking time to think and compose with images on each subject.
