St Eustache parish, through a contest, wished to change its aging church furniture. The mass and charity events take place on different sides of the nave. To avoid that every chair has to be returned one by one, as it is the case at the moment, the seating has to be reversible. My researches has focuses on how to obtain reversibility without any complex mechanism, which often means high cost, premature wear and dangerousness. I imagined a symmetrical seating, where the bench back can rest on the front or back uprights.
